How to Check Your UAE Labour Contract Online (MOHRE, 2026)

Your labour contract is the most important document of your employment in the UAE — it defines your salary, job title, working hours, and notice period. By law, your employer must give you a copy (Article 8 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 requires the contract in two copies, one for each side). If you never received yours, or you want to verify what is actually registered with the government, you can check and download it online in minutes through MOHRE.

Method 1: Check via the MOHRE website

1. Go to mohre.gov.ae and open Services.
2. Select View Approved Contract.
3. Choose your search method:
   • Search by Emirates ID: enter your Emirates ID number and request an OTP — it goes to the mobile number linked to your Emirates ID.
   • Search by transaction number: enter the transaction number (from your visa/approval paperwork), your passport number, nationality, and date of birth, then complete the captcha.
4. Enter the OTP and click View My Contract.
5. Review it on screen, then print or download the PDF for your records.

Method 2: Check via the MOHRE app

1. Install the official MOHRE app (Google Play / App Store).
2. Log in with UAE Pass.
3. Go to My Dashboard and open Contract (or Services — Employees — My Contract).
4. View, download, or save your contract directly to your phone.

What should your contract contain?

• Employer name and address; your name, nationality, and date of birth
• Job title, qualifications, date of commencement, and place of work
• Working hours and rest days
• Probation period (if any) and contract duration
• Agreed wage — basic salary plus benefits and allowances, listed separately
• Annual leave entitlement and notice period

Offer letter vs labour contract: check for mismatches

Compare the contract against the offer letter you signed. The registered MOHRE contract is the legally binding one. If the salary, job title, or benefits differ from what you were promised, raise it with HR immediately — and keep copies of both documents.
